Maybe: One cause of light bleeding that does need medical attention is when it occurs after the pregnancy has already been diagnosed. This bleeding may be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy in the tubes, ovaries or elsewhere but not in the uterus).  Your doctor needs to be made aware of this if you have already been diagnosed with a positive pregnancy test.

With your missed cycle, and suspected unprotected sex in the apst, you may most likely be pregnant.  It is time now to see the Dr. and get a confirmatory Serum (blood) test and evaluation. Having one or two of these symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there is a medical problem, but a visit to one’s primary care or Ob-Gyn doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent or recurring as in this case.
