You need to be seen: You need to go to the hospital and being evaluated for labor now. You may be in labor. They will see if your cervix is changing and see if the contractions stop.

Not braxton hicks: Braxton Hicks are defined as PAINLESS tightening.  I would assume you are having contractions.  Call your OB or midwife and let them know how often these are occuring.  You may need monitored on labor and delivery.

hi i am 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant. i have been drinking movicol 1 packet a day this week due to constipation and still haven't gone. what else am i allowed to take?

Agioolax : Firstly, you can safely increase the dosage of Movicol to 1 sachet 3/day 
If this doesn’t help, add agiolax sachet . Start with 1 sachet daily ,increasing to 1 sachet 2/day 
Eat lots of raw vegetables, fruits and drink enough water

Uterus practice runs: And your question is? Your uterus is simply having some preliminary practice runs getting ready for the big day which could happen any time after the next 2-3 weeks.  Baby's head down is good at this point.

Common complaint: Most women late in pregnancy begin to feel these kinds of things. If you are concerned then schedule a visit with your obgyn to make sure all is normal. If you are contracting then head to labor and delivery.

Possible Make sure: Get a an Urine Pregnancy test and Blood test or wait couple of more days and see if comes back! Not unusual to have a irregular period!

Ovulation: If you have sex four days prior to ovulation you could become pregnant because viable sperm can still be in your body at the time of ovulation.

Pregnant: It's always possible but would suggest doing a pregnancy test today and repest in 1-2 days if negative to be sure.
