Yes: Unfortunately, this is a side effect of pregnancy. The effects of the hormones on your nipples is causing this.  Sometimes it can feel, if you barely touch them, that they are burning or being poked with hot flames or stabbed with a knife.  Lovely, right?  It can come and go.   You can try a cold compress or tylenol (acetaminophen).  Sorry about that.  Pregnancy is hard on the body, right?

im 33 weeks pregnant and have had stretch marks but over the past 3 days the burning and itching has gotten worse and now it looks like there is a rash. also the itching is now in my chest, neck and parts of my face. should i be concerned?

Allergic reaction: A rash and spreading itching is suggestive of an allergic reaction. Think of any foods medications,cosmetics, soaps,etc  that could have been triggers. Ask your obstetrician for an ok to take an antihistamine for relief of itching.

Fetal growth chart: Any time a test is done the doctor ordering the test needs to go through the results with you and make sure you are fully informed about the findings. You can consult a fetal growth chart and compare the weight of the baby to gestational age.

is livogen xt 100 mg once a day safe in 33 weeks pregnancy.?
my tlc is as high as 12,400 & my sgot and sgpt levels are also high,is my baby at risk

Depends: Livigen is iron and frolic acid and would be fine in a normal pregnancy. The abnormal lab values are concerning and I would need to know why they are elevated to say for sure that anything is safe. Good luck.

Medication: Tums and rolaids are good when you have the symptom. If you get it daily you are better off on a preventative medication like prevacid, (lansoprazole) prilosec, Omeprazole and ranitidine.

Gallbladder?: If bloating is mainly upper abdomen and pain radiates around the right and thru to the back it could be representative of gallbladder disease. Please see your doctor to see if an abdominal ultrasound or hida scan is needed.

Normal: Hormonal effect on the breast tissues.These hormones prepare the breasts to get a good supply of blood and to activate the mammary glands. The veins in the breasts get engorged with blood and this is mainly responsible for nipples burning during pregnancy. The best method to minimize the discomfort caused by breast changes is to wear bras that fit well or compress the breasts.

Uncertain: Nipples buring is a very possible side effect of ovidrel. It may take more days to have this subside when the drug is out of your system.

Infection: Possible infection. Cystic breast disease? Also could be sign of Paget"s or even possible cancer. If you have had symptoms for two months, you should get checked by your doctor.
