Pain pregnancy: Lower abdominal pain at 36 weeks will need to be evaluated to rule out preterm labor, bladder infection and other causes. You need to call your doctor of go in to be evaluated

Evaluation: Back pain in the 3rd trimester is a very common issue. If it is so severe that you truly are unable to walk or stand then something more severe may be going on. You will need to see your doctor for a physical exam. Your obgyn can help determine if this is normal back pain of pregnancy or if a referral to a Neurologist or Neurosurgeon is indicated for a more serious condition.

Constipation: Constipation is quite common in pregnancy.  If drinking more water and adding fiber to your diet (either naturally or through a product like fibercon) doesn't work, your doctor may advise a stool softener such as colace (docusate sodium).  This can be bought over the counter.  If that regimen doesn't help, your doctor may recommend a stronger laxative.  Make sure your cramps are constipation and not preterm labor!

NO: Very doubtful unless it caused severe bleeding- a bruise is superficial.

Pregnant: Without delay you must contact the Gynecologist! If you cannot be seen by the doctor (unlikely) you should have  someone take you to the nearest Emergency facility. They will make certain that you will be seen by a Gynecologist almost immediately.

E.R. checks appendix: Lower right abdominal discomfort can be from many things. For pain there, appendicitis is always a concern (pain usually worsens over time, with fever coming on). If one is constipated for several days, stool can back up all the way to the right side, and cause discomfort or pain. Gallstones and kidney stones can also cause pain. The Emergency Room doctor can check now. Somebody else should drive.

Doctor can evaluate: Abdominal pain can be from many things. Stomach acid problems cause pain, as does pancreatitis or gallstones. Appendicitis is always a concern (pain is usually right lower abdomen, worsens over time, with fever coming on). If constipated for a while, stool could have backed up and cause pain. Gastrointestinal infections can cause pain, nausea, vomiting, and fever. A doctor's exam may be needed.
