Call your doctor: It depends on how much you are bleeding, and what your blood type is. If your blood type is Rh negative, you may need to get a medication called Rhogam. If it is light spotting it is probably nothing to worry about, whereas if it is heavier like a period or more, it may indicate a miscarriage is happening. Either way, it is best to check in w/ your OB or midwife.

Bleeding after sex: Bleeding immediately after sex is not generally associated with harm or danger to early pregnancy. Usually some bleeding is caused by irritation to the cervix, and does not indicate a problem at 10 weeks of pregnancy.  If bleeding persists, see your OB provider for an exam .

Call your doctor: It depends on how much bleeding you are having. Some spotting in early pregnancy is very common and doesn't necessarily indicate a miscarriage, but if you are having bleeding like a period or heavier, you may be having a miscarriage. If it is only a small amount of bleeding after sex, it's usually nothing to worry about. Either way you should let your doctor or midwife know.

Wait, then see Doc: If cytomis 800mg doesn't work after 2 days, the dose is usually repeated.  

In one large study, the expulsion rate by day 3 was 71% and by day 8, 84%.  

If you are part of the 15% it doesn't work for then you may need to have a d&amp;c.

Seek continued care!: So sorry about your loss!  you should be seeing some results by now.  You ought to contact your doctor for a follow up visit, blood work, ultrasound, and possible d&amp;c if the tissue does not pass.  Best of luck.

See a Doctor: About 25% of women have some bleeding in the first trimester of pregnancy, so bleeding doesn't always mean miscarriage.  However, bleeding with pain should always be evaluated by your physician.  Make an appointment as soon as possible to be sure.
