Dear sir, what is difference between free T4 and free T3 (liothyronine) and their functions?

Will having low normal free T3 (liothyronine) in pregnancy hurt the fetus?

If T3 (liothyronine) is converted from T4 inside the cell, how can they measure the free T3 (liothyronine) in the blood test?
