Abnormal scar formation
Abnormal scar formation is a symptom in which a person, after an accidental or surgical wound, does not heal up properly. Instead he may develop too thick of a scar, too weak of a scar that doesn't hold the sides of the healing wound together, or too tight of a scar that pulls on the surrounding skin.
