Endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery

Endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery

Share

Link copied

Contrary to open surgery endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery utilizes very small incisions and endoscopes (cameras) to visualize the transverse carpal ligament that gets transacted. Advantages include earlier return to work and activities since the wounds heal quickly and the sensitive palmar fascia is traditionally not transected.
