ACL hamstring surgery
Two of the hamstring tendons are used to replace the the torn anterior cruciate ligament (acl). These tendons are removed form their regular position and placed in the area where the acl had been - the tendon graft is fixed to the bone on the femur and tibia sides of hte knee. This choice for acl graft has proven to be quite successful.
