Parathyroid hormone
Parathyroid hormone is the hormone released by the parathyroid glands which are four pea-sized glands located behind your thyroid. This hormone is responsible for your balance of calcium. Some patient will have too much parathyroid hormone which results in high calcium levels as well as other symptoms.
