Tube feeding
For those unable to swallow well/high risk of aspiration, a tube can be placed via the nose, mouth, or inserted through the abdominal wall (see pic) into the stomach or even further down into intestine. Food (usually liquid form such as ensure) is then fed through this tube--this is tube feeding. Have fun learning. Good luck.
