Cell free fetal DNA
A new prenatal screening test that is used to see if a woman is at risk for having increased risk for having a fetus with Down syndrome, Edward syndrome or Patau syndrome. The blood tests is done after 10 weeks of pregnancy and is thought to detect greater than 99% of Down syndrome pregnancies.
