Sudden numbness
Sudden sporadic and reversible numbness could be very benign such as hitting one's "funny bone" at the elbow, but if not provoked, numbness in one or two limbs might be a transient ischemic attack due to decreased blood flow in the brain. Important to sort out problem with brain and spinal cord vrs peripheral nerve issue.
