Repeated hand washing

Repeated hand washing

Share

Link copied

Repeated hand washing is a symptom in which a person washes his hands many times a day, because he feels he must, even though his hands are already clean. Repetitive actions are compulsions, and can be a sign of an obsessive-compulsive disorder. Repeated hand washing for normal reasons is fine to do, such as when a doctor washes his hands after examining each patient.
