Urgent care
Urgent care is delivered in an ambulatory setting. Patients arrive without appointments, first come, first served (except in cases of emergency) care that is rendered is often to treat minor traumatic injuries (ankle sprain, broken finger), lacerations, minor illnesses - sore throat, cough, uti. Not a primary care setting - patients are referred back to their own pmd.
