Congenital malformation
A congenital malformation is a condition in which a person has a abnormal body part from the day he was born. The malformation is a birth defect, but sometimes it is not discovered until many years later, especially if it is inside the body, such as a kidney malformation. Many congenital malformations cause symptoms, but some do not.
