Wet mount of vaginal discharge positive for yeast
When a woman has symptoms suggestive of a vaginal infection, her physician will take some of the vaginal secretions and look at it under the microscope. Yeast look like strings with little balls attached and are best seen when potassium hydroxide is added to the secretions.
