A facial wrinkle is a small ridge or furrow in the skin caused by age, sun damage, smoking, poor diet, lack of sleep, and repetitive use of certain facial muscles (frown lines, smile lines, crows feet). To minimize wrinkles, eat well, drink plenty of water, get 8 hours of sleep, wear sunscreen daily, wear sunglasses in bright light, and stop smoking.
