When small abcess shrink without drainage where does pus goes?

I have abcess it is not too small it's quite noticable have good size but it goes away without drainage is that fine ? where did pus etc matter in it goes ?

6th day of abcess drainage. Nurse that changes my dressing told there are oil glands coming out with pus. I am afraid?
