Glipizide
Glipizide is the generic name for the anti diabetic drug glucotrol (glipizide). It is in the drug category of sulfonylureas. These drugs are very effective in treating type 2 diabetes. However, they can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) if blood glucose is not monitored closely.
