Insulin pump
Insulin pumps is a convenient way to give insulin. The Insulin is in a reservoir and gets pumped through a needle into the skin nearby. You can program it to give a variable basal rate, and you tell it how much Insulin to give with meals. However, the pump does not measure glucose. You still need to do this. The Insulin pump is good for type 1 diabetics who are motivated to fine tune their gluc.
