Prescription drug abuse is a symptom in which a person is taking prescription drugs to have fun, to get high, to experiment with different drug effects, or to satisfy a drug addiction. The drugs are often obtained illegally, even though they are legal drugs when used properly for the persons and purposes that doctors prescribed them for.
