Hoigne's syndrome
Hoigne's syndrome is an acute pseudoallergic reaction that occurs after intramusclar or intravenous administration of penicillin G procaine or benzathine (although case reports from oral use exist). Within a few seconds after administration, the person develops hallucinations, confusion, fear of death, anxiety and altered consciousness.
