Cellulite
Cellulite is a surface irregularity in the skin caused by attachments between the back of the skin and the deeper muscle fascia. These attachments pull the skin. Like buttons on a throw pillow. Sometimes cellulite is solitary, and sometimes a larger area is involved. Cellulite can occur with or without weight gain. All current surface treatments are temporary. Surgery may help in selected cases.
