Bilingual services are provided by trained translators to help facilitate communication between a physician and a patient who does not speak English well. The translator may either translate for the patient and physician in person, or translate through a telephone service. Such service ensures that the patient is well-informed about his/her health, and that the physician is receiving an accurate medical history.
