Clear fluid leaking from the vagina
Late in pregnancy, as the baby gets larger and pushes on the bladder, it's common to leak a small amount of urine. When your membranes rupture and your water breaks, there is a gush of clear fluid. Sometimes the membranes begin to leak slowly, and there is no gush of fluid, only a small amount of clear fluid at first. Any leaking fluid should be evaluated to make sure it is not leaking amniotic fluid from ruptured membranes.

Short-term (lasts days to weeks)
