In brief: Ganglion

A ganglion cyst is a swelling at crease of wrist which arise between bones of wrist.
This can be ignored if not painful. If painful out patient surgery with orthopedist or hand surgeon can remove this cyst but there is a 15 per cent recurrence rate after surgery.
