In brief: Unlikely pbm
If your surgery was done in the US using blood following the present protocols your risk of problems is tiny.
The present blood banking system screens all donors/blood during collection & zaps the blood with radiation to kill any virus that sneaks thru the screening process. U can have yourself screened at any point if U remain concerned.

In brief: Not necessary
Since 1990-91, the risk of contracting viral hepatitis or HIV from transfused blood obtained in a hospital or blood bank is very low.
One would suspicious for those diseases based on other factors and signs.
