In brief: PROBABLY

Uti prevention begins with good hygiene - wipe away from the urethra, urinate after sexual contact, drink plenty of water, etc.
Many herbs inhibit bacteria & can be used successfully on as needed basis (before sexual activity for example). Some to consider are intermittent uva ursi or cranberry. Don't use together since they work at different pH levels. Respect herbs since you can be allergic.

In brief: The evidence says...

The evidence says.
.... No. If you are male with a uti, see a urologist. If you are female: stay hydrated, always urinate after sexual intercourse, and make sure you "try" to urinate at least ever 2-3 hours while awake. If you are doing all of the above and still getting uti's, see you doctor asap. There is no evidence that cranberry or other "natural" remedies work.
