In brief: Always genetic

Hd is a genetic disease.
Anyone that carries the gene will get the disease, but knowing that you have the gene does not tell you your age of onset at the disease. The onset of the disease will occur regardless of other factors if one lives long enough.

In brief: Yes

Huntington's disease or chorea is attached to chromosome 4.
This makes it genetic.

Genetic conditions are due to genetic expression and therefore not subject to external stressors nor factors causing the disease to start- they are going to start regardless of any outside influence as part of your genetic makeup- like the color of your eyes.
