In brief: Generally.no

Most times tubal ligation does not produce post-procedure pains after recovery.
However, if adhesions occur, that can be a source of pain later whereby tissues intra-abdominally such as the bowel, tube or ovary end up sticking to each other inappropriiately.

As a dissenting view, some women not only have their menstrual blood come out their vagina, but ALSO out their fallopian tubes into the belly. That can account for some of the heaviness and discomfort that some women feel. If your body does this, and your tubes are tied, that blood can no longer go in the belly, and stretch the tubes, causing pain IN SOME WOMEN, not all.
