In brief: Not at all

Instead of focusing in on supplementation, focus on mating your exercise endeavors to a healthy diet.
P90X includes a reasonable nutrition plan and you are better off investing the time and money to actualizing a plan like this instead of on supplementation.

In brief: No

First, you should carefully, realistically, and honestly decide if p90x is appropriate for your level of fitness.
If it is (i certainly hope so...It's a terrific in-home exercise program), you do not have to specifically supplement your workouts. That said, the program is vigorous. So, consistent "training" means fueling your body with the right nutrients and recovery foods and drinks.

In brief: Not really

If you are healthy and starting p90x you are in for an intense work out so eating well and drinking lots of water will help.
If you are not in great shape or have lots of medical problems it may help to take additional multivitamins, vitamin d and b since many people are low in this.
