In brief: Depends

It would depend on the cause for the infertility.
Some cases would be treatable, some would not.

In brief: Yes very much so

Secondary infertility used to describe a delay in conception in spite of having delivered a child in the past.
This is no less distressing and requires the same tests for cause as in someone not having conceived at all. If over age 35 speak with your doctor if no conception at 6 months , if <35 after 12 months. Most causes have good treatments.

In brief: Yes!

Primary infertility occurs in women who have never conceived before, while women with secondary infertility have been pregnant before.
The treatments for primary and secondary infertility are very similar. If simpler treatments like fertility pills and insemination do not work, more aggressive treatments using injections and ivf are often successful. Get expert evaluation and advice.
