Is it ok to have twins in 5-6 week gestiona, one sac but no heart beats. Hcg levels, 51330 iu/ml and after two days it became 57396iu/ml is it normal?

Probably not. The HCG should double in 2 days at that point in the gestation. The example you give had only a minimal increase. This does not sound like a viable pregnancy.

My LMP was July 24th. Sac is measuring 5 wk 5 days last week but hCG levels of 10 thousand. No yolk sac or heart beat. By LMP I should b 8+2. Normal?

No. This is very concerning. You may have conceived later than you think but there is cause for concern. The hcg level should be repeated to see if it is rising and if so how fast. This may be a blighted ovum and you are just such a good mother that you haven't miscarried yet. Remember, this sort of thing usually happens because there was something wrong with the baby and not due to something you did. Read more...

At 7 weeks 2 days I went in for a v/u/s. Sac and fetal pole seen with no heart beat. I have a tilted uterus. My hCG levels rose as well. Viable?

Not Likely. If your pregnancy dating is correct, most likely the pregnancy is not viable. A heart beat is usually first seen by 6 weeks. Certainly you need another ultrasound to confirm, but the images are more important that the blood work. If it is not viable, then the most common explanation is a genetically abnormal pregnancy that formed. Read more...

Missed miscarriage at week 8, baby lost heart beat. Induced miscarriage with cytote 3 weeks ago, now hcg level 300 (was 337 two days ago), need D&C?

Probably... Cytotec (misoprostol) will usually cause you to pass the tissue left in your uterus. If it doesn't, a D&C is frequently performed. Its also a good idea to continue repeating the HCG level after the D&C until it is zero. This will ensure that there is no other problems related to the miscarriage such as gestational trophoblastic disease. Best Wishes! Read more...

My HCG levels on the first blood test was 11, 293. 72hrs later it is 18, 331. Am I ok? Only saw yolk sac when level was 11, 293, no heart beat yet?

Rising HCG. The HCG is going in the right direction. A Progesterone level might also indicate if everything is OK. An untrasound in a week or two should show a heartbeat, but waiting a bit longer will give you a better opportunity to see the embryo. Read more...
