Can post-nasal drip cause or be related to stomach acid? And how do I know which one is causing my sore throat?

Probably not. Your symptoms are probably unrelated but for a definitive diagnosis, you should be evaluated by your doctor. Although the symptoms can be just an annoyance they may be signs of a larger underlying problem having an evaluation by a doctor can give you better answers.
