In brief: SSRI

Luvox (fluvoxamine) and clomipramine have the best evidence but anyone can be used.

Also Prozac (Fluoxetine) at higher dose.

In brief: SSRIs

Ssris like zoloft, prozac, Celexa are top choices for treating ocd, the doses required can sometimes be upto twice the antidepressant doses.
Anafranil used to be a top choice before but ssris are generally the safest. Wellbutrin (bupropion) has no particular efficacy in treating ocd.

Luvox is especially is an well studied SSRI medication for OCD.

Yes agreed, Luvox or Fluvoxamine has particularly good efficacy for OCD but when using be aware of the really short half life (even lesser than Paxil or Paroxetine) hence increasing chances of SSRI discontinuation symptoms.

In brief: Anafranil#1 #2-SSRI

Doses must be tailored to persons -age, weight, past rx use.
Exposure behavioral rx is of some value along with talk rx.
