Can Valtrex cause Viral Pharyngitis? I have 5 tiny canker sore like ulcers on one tonsil. Symptoms appeared two days after starting pill.
No, Valtrex does not. Cause viral pharyngitis. Most likely, the sores you are seeing are from the infection you are treating with the Valtrex. The Valtrex takes some time to begin working & the sores may have already been starting at a sub clinical level. If they are continuing, please see your doctor.
I have a what looks like an canker sore/ulcers type thing on my left buttcheek towards my anus. It's really painful and doesn't seem to go away.
See a doctor.... That is not normal and should be evaluated by a doctor. If it were me, i'd get to a physician right away!
The 3 canker sore looking bumps on my vulva hurt only one day and seem to be healed now (day 3). How long do herpes ulcers last? What were those bumps?
COULD BE HERPES. Suggest you see your gyn when it recurs. If herpes there is treatment for same, but need to be sure that it is that.
Genital Herpes. If it is genital herpes, the infection is for life. When it is active, don't have sex. This is when it is most contageous. If it was something else, quite possible because herpes usually lasts longer than 3 days, have it looked at by youe dermatologist or other doc.

Is it possible to have herpes on one tonsil? Tonsil is swollen and has 5 tiny canker sore like ulcers. Didn't have blisters. Lymph nodes are swollen.
Herpes in the mouth. Well depending on 'what happened' recently I would include herpes as a possibility. Herpes ulcers generally form at the site where they invaded. If you had receptive oral sex, then in theory it would be possible. The best way to find out is to see an ID doctor who could take a culture to prove or disprove this theory. There are other causes for an ulcer back there, so I do recommend getting seen.
