In brief: How teeth grow

Dentists and oral surgeons watch how your teeth grow and grow in during adolescence.
If they see teeth growing in crooked or becoming impacted (not growing in as expected) their concerns can shift year to year.

In brief: Depends on status

Depending on whether or not anything has changed since the previous year, maybe the surgeon's opinion will not change at all.
However, if there are new symptoms, such as pain and swelling, or it appears that the wisdom teeth are moving and potentially in a position to damage the other adjacent teeth, then a decision to have them removed may be made. Keep smiling !

The older you get the more likely to have complications with nerve injury, sinus difficulties, and poorer healing.
