Hit my head on the school bus. It wasn't very painful with no symptoms but I'm concerned about a concussion. Are there tests I can do myself to check.

Concussion Symptoms. Most people with a concussion recover quickly and fully. But for some people, symptoms can last for days, weeks, or longer. Symptoms of concussion: thinking, remembering, emotional, sleep, difficulty thinking clearly, headache, fuzzy or blurry vision, irritability, sleeping more than usual, feeling slowed down, dizziness, sensitivity to noise or light, balance problems, more emotional, difficult.
Concussion? If you do not have any symptoms of concussion including change in alertness or unconsciousness, headache, confusion, you have not had a concussion. There are not home tests except to keep track of symptoms and discuss them with your doctor.
Concussion. With a hit to the head and no symptoms such as headache, vomiting or altered mental status it is extremely unlikely you sustained a concussion.
Head Injury. If you did not become sleepy or 'somnolent' as we call it, and/or did not get nauseated or vomited, then you most likely do not have a concussion. If more than 24 hours have passed since your injury without these symptoms then you will be fine.No testing needed.
