A serving of yogurt per day is helpful to prevent halitosis, as are carrots, apples, celery, melons, berries and citrus fruits. Herbs such as cardamom, rosemary, eucalyptus, coriander can be steeped in a tea or chewed on fresh. Parsley works as well.
