In brief: Prevent halitosis
In general, eat a healthy, balanced diet and regular meals.
A serving of yogurt per day is helpful to prevent halitosis, as are carrots, apples, celery, melons, berries and citrus fruits. Herbs such as cardamom, rosemary, eucalyptus, coriander can be steeped in a tea or chewed on fresh. Parsley works as well.

In brief: Parsley
Chew on parsley! it's safe and it works pretty well.
Plus it's not bad for you. However, you should see a physician or dentist to make sure that it is just simple bad breath.
