Is vistaril (hydroxyzine) addictive?

No. Vistaril helps restless and anxiety through it's antihistamine activity, much like benadryl (diphenhydramine). It is not addictive, but if you are taking it several times daily you could find yourself having some withdrawal symptoms like runny nose.
