Why can't tca peels be used on dark skin?

PIH... ...Which is short for "post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation", is more of a problem in darker skin tones. Essentially, it's blotchy dark brown spots, that are irregular, and not pretty. Better to avoid them, than to have to try to treat them.
Risk of blotches. Even in light skin peels can cause mottled, blotchy pigmentation. With dark skin that problem can be even worse and more noticeable. It could cause more of a problem than it's trying to treat.
