In brief: Tummy tuck

Depending on the location of the stretch marks, the only real way to eliminate them is excision.
Whether a tummy tuck or arm lift or other type of surgical excision, the only remedy is to cut it out.

In brief: Tummy tuck Vs Laser

Stretch marks occur due to cracks in the dermis skin layer. Some of these will fade with time.
If the red color does not go away, a pulsed dye laser can help to fade the color. Laser is less helpful for white marks. Otherwise, the most definitive treatment is a tummy tuck, which will completely remove as much of the damaged skin as possible while restoring smoothness to the abdominal contour.

If the stretch marks are in the lower abdomen tummy tuck is the way to go, but if they are over the breasts, back of the arms or upper thighs, not much to do about them. None of the antistretch mark creams out in the market will erase them. Just the discoloration might get better.

The only way to remove stretch marks is to excise them surgically (tummy tuck).

No topical cream or magic treatment will erase them.

In brief: None

There are a wide variety of items recommended for stretch marks.
There is anecdotal or case material only for them. There is no large, controlled trial showing benefit for treating stretch marks. No woman likes them. They do fade with time, and the belly skin gets stronger and tauter, though never as pre-pregnancy. In the end, they are the marks of true love.

The only current way to eliminate stretch marks is with a tummy tuck.

If stretch marks are in a place that they can be removed surgically, such as in the lower abdomen, that is your best option. Otherwise if they are in the upper abdomen, thighs or upper breast, there is not much to do about them.

In brief: Stretch marks

The only way to truly remove stretch marks or diminish the number of marks is to surgically remove them- as in a tummy tuck.

If your stretch marks are mostly in the lower abdomen , a tummy tuck is an excellent option.
If they are in the upper abdomen, thighs, upper breasts or arms, not much can be done about them.
