In brief: IBS?

Sounds like ibs. Would start by increasing fiber in diet and then see gastroenterologist if no better.

In brief: Number of things

May have irritable bowel syndrome, common with fibro and chronic fatigue.
Need to increase fiber and dehydration, monitor opioid use if taking. Diarrhea could be overflow if you have severe constipation. May need top and bottom solution (laxative+enema) if still constipated, may need xray. Recommend seeing primary and someone who focuses on fibro for appropriate diet and bowel care routines.

In brief: Rule out bad stuff..

After ruling out polyps or bleeding for example, a strict bowl program may help.
Consider drinking lots of water, walking to stimulate gut peristalsis, and utilizing the gastro colic reflex to keep you regular. Bulk laxatives and whole grains normalize soft and hard stool problems. Ultimately, the core fibro treatment is exercising well, sleeping well and eating well.
