In brief: Both! Neither!

Ibuprofen is an nsaid, useful to relieve pain, fever & inflammation.
Naproxen is a similar drug, also available w/o prescription. Tylenol is a brand of acetaminophen, useful to relieve pain & fever but has no anti-inflammatory properties. Ibuprofen & Acetaminophen can be used together; Naproxen & acetaminophen, too. But never take both Ibuprofen & Naproxen together. Nsaids can damage kidneys, incr.

NSAIDs can damage kidneys, increase blood pressure & cause bleeding ulcers as well as increase risk for heart disease. Acetaminophen in excess can damage liver. So answer also depends upon your own health history. Your family doc can help you wade thru all this.
