I had a red mark the size of a pencil eraser near my iris. It has now spread and gotten bigger. I can't get in to see my eye dr. Should I be worried?

Conjunctival hem. If this is on the white of the eye, it is probably a subconjunctival hemorrhage, which is a usually spontaneous hemorrhage underneath the lining of the white of the eye. It is usually painless or only mildly irritated, and often is present upon awakening in the morning. Coughing, straining, rubbing can also cause this. They usually clear within a few days. See your doctor if you are not sure.
Enlarging red mark. It is difficult to tell without looking at the lesion. Given that the lesion has gotten larger in size, i think it would be wise to have it evaluated by an ophthalmologist.
