In brief: Depends

Depends on what the cause of your joint pain is.
Talk to your doctor about options would be right for you.

In brief: Fish oil

I recommend high quality fish oil to most of my patients.
I find it a very good supplement for people with achy joints and i take it myself. Having said that, i would always recommend that you check with your doctor before taking supplements. Many supplements including fish oil can interact with other medications, particularly blood thinners.
