In brief: Maybe

Multiple factors need to be reviewed-- age, whether or not the ovaries were removed, past history of blood clots or cancer, and overall health.
For most patients if the ovaries were removed the answer is yes.

In brief: No

Hysterectomy refers only to the removal of the uterus and usually the cervix.
This does not affect your hormones. Women who need hormone replacement also have had their ovaries removed. This is a separate procedure from a hysterectomy but usually performed during the same surgery. This is decided by you and your doctor prior to surgery.
