Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but dental decay under a crown means removal is needed.
It is possible to repair the tooth again and new crown placed, but chance is slim--the decaying tooth cannot hold the new crown (not healthy enough). Likely u will need tooth extraction and possible bridge or implant. The sooner the better..See your dentist/orthodontist. Good luck.

Most of the time if bad breath or bad taste originates form one tooth - it is due to accumulation of odor producing bacteria in this area.
Possibly old crown, large cavity... Pretty much- anything that you cannot clean well, will give you bad breath and bad taste. The best solution-see your dentist and replace the old crown.
