Unless all lesions are scabbed over, if one has an impaired immune system such as a pt with aids, transplant, pregnant, or autoimmune disease on significant immunosuppressive drugs, it's best to stay away from the baby with chickenpox.
Otherwise, if you were immunized or had chicken pox in the past, then you are ok.
